Diani Blue offers just six spacious guest rooms, thus guaranteeing both seclusion and exclusivity at the heart of this world-renowned destination. Each rooms stands in its own stone-built chalet with private entrance, vestibule and spacious ensuite bathroom.Presented with typical Swahili elegance, the rooms feature hand-carved hardwood furniture and king-sized or twin beds (with draw-around mosquito nets and fine cotton bedding). All rooms have full air conditioning and ceiling fans; the Azure, Lapis, Cobalt, Teal and Sky rooms have elegant French doors leading to a private terrace with direct access to the pool; the Kingfisher room has a separate interior seating area and its own shaded terrace in the gardens. Each room is fronted by its own sun-loungers and umbrella poolside.
Diani Blue is distinguished by the vibrancy and variety its cuisine. Our team of chefs excels in the production of an unrivaled range of dishes, all of which are created using seafood fresh from the Indian ocean, locally reared poultry and meats and locally sourced market garden produce.
Continental Breakfast is served on our raised dining terrace and typically consists of home-made bread and patisseries, a variety of jams, yogurts, fresh tropical fruits and fruit juices, cereals, muesli, coffee, tea, and milk. Alternatively, a full English breakfast can be served at no additional cost.
Luncheon can be taken around the pool, on the terrace or in our beachfront bar and restaurant, The Edge. A typical luncheon menu will include homemade soups, seafood, pasta, salads, grills, and Chef’s snacks.
Dinner is comprised of: a choice of three starters, four main courses (fish, meat or vegetarian or a seasonal seafood special), and a range of desserts – options change daily. Dinner can be served on our terrace, around the pool (by candlelight), in the privacy of your own room or terrace, or beneath the palms of our beachfront restaurant, The Edge.
Our cellar offers an extensive range of South African and other international wines while the Blues Bar stocks a global selection of spirits and the very best of local beers and juices.
