Sarova Salt Lick is within the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. At the foot of Taita Hills adjacent to Tsavo West National Park. Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary covers a protected area of 28,000 acres on an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level (3,600 ft.).
The Sanctuary boasts its own functional airstrip in close proximity to the lodge. The unique Lodge structure design is themed as a Taita traditional village.
The Sanctuary is home to more than 50 different species of mammals and over 300 species of birds. These include
elephant, lion, cheetah, leopard, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, ostrich, eagles, vultures and much more.
Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge has 60 well-appointed standard rooms with stunning views of the lush gardens surrounding the lodge, the beautiful free form swimming pool and some have exclusive views of the watering hole. Rooms at the Lodge are with double, twin or triple beds depending on room type. All rooms have a private viewing balcony commanding views of the adjacent Taita Hills, the well-maintained gardens and surrounding Sanctuary. The elegantly furnished rooms are spacious with a sitting area and ensuite bathrooms.

Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge excels in the freshness and quality of its food which is supported by the Lodge’s own vegetable and herb garden.
The Main restaurant serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with live cooking counters preparing specialty dishes. Cuisine includes Pan-African, Pan-European and Pan-Asian. The Salad buffet has a wide variety of salads using the fresh ingredients and herbs from the Lodge’s own vegetable and herb garden. The Dessert buffet has a selection of mouthwatering desserts. Vegetarian dishes are always available, and guests with any special dietary requirements are also catered for.
The restaurant has a capacity of 200 people.
The Bar is the ideal place to relax and unwind with specials or old favorites from the well stocked bar. The Bar also offers an eclectic selection of new world and classical wines.
Champagne Breakfast: A unique experience of dining in the wilderness on a sumptuous breakfast accompanied with champagne. The Breakfast includes live cooking against the backdrop of the Taita Hills and grassy plains of the Sanctuary.
The beautiful landscape sets the backdrop for a bush dinner at Kudu Point, the highest location in the Sanctuary. Spectacular sunsets and magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro – weather permitting – compliment a truly unique experience as you sip sundowners and experience a barbeque in the wild, accompanied by a trio of local musicians.

Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge lends itself naturally to the ideal exotic wedding flavored with the culture and traditions of the Taita.
The lodge is fully geared to take up all the arrangements so that guests can truly enjoy themselves without worrying about the details. These include venue decoration using traditional fabrics, beads and handicraft, flowers, music and dance, bubbly toast and tiered cake, bush dinner with traditional dancers and photography. The marriage license, certificate and registration are also taken care of.
Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge offers modern facilities for the perfect conference in the wild. The Baraza room is equipped with modern day facilities including an LCD and overhead projector, while for smaller meetings the Mwandu room provides similar facilities in an equally comfortable environment.
The two conference rooms have a combined capacity of up to 150 people making this an ideal location for meetings, incentives and experiential learning.
